At Alter Ego Appearance, classic tape machines become the starting point for a deeply individual transformation. Engineering, material and finish are considered together, down to the smallest control.
Each creation takes 6 to 18 months of dedicated work. The result is an instrument with its own character, conceived for people who value the experience of analogue as much as the music itself.

Purpose-made components, CNC machining and individually selected materials turn an artistic direction into tangible mechanical detail.
Finish & refine
Integrated metal lettering, powder coating, hand-polished controls and distinctive woodwork bring the instrument’s new identity together.
